Educational Qualification & Experience

As per NMC Gazette Notification dated 30.06.2025

Candidates must ascertain their eligibility as per the NMC notification before appearing for interview.

General Requirements:

For Professor:

• As per NMC regulations
• Teaching/Research experience as per NMC norms
• Publications in NMC approved journals

For Associate Professor:

• As per NMC regulations
• Teaching/Research experience as per NMC norms
• Publications in NMC approved journals

For Assistant Professor:

• As per NMC regulations
• Teaching/Research experience as per NMC norms

Registration: Must be registered with DMC (Delhi Medical Council) or State Medical Council

Salary & Emoluments

Pay Structure (7th CPC):

*Package includes: Basic + NPA@20% (wherever applicable) + DA@58% + HRA@20% + TA@7200

Professor (Level 13):

• Basic: ₹1,23,100
• NPA@20%: ₹24,620
• DA@58%: ₹71,398
• HRA@20%: ₹24,620
• TA: ₹7,200
• Total: ₹2,50,938+ per month

Associate Professor (Level 12):

• Basic: ₹78,800
• NPA@20%: ₹15,760
• DA@58%: ₹45,704
• HRA@20%: ₹15,760
• TA: ₹7,200
• Total: ₹1,63,224+ per month

Assistant Professor (Level 11):

• Basic: ₹67,700
• NPA@20%: ₹13,540
• DA@58%: ₹39,266
• HRA@20%: ₹13,540
• TA: ₹7,200
• Total: ₹1,41,246+ per month

• As per Medical Administration HQRS Office Memorandum
• DA revised automatically as per Government orders
• Arrears not admissible for retrospective DA revision

Age Limit

Maximum Age: Not exceeding 67 years as on date of walk-in-interview (26.02.2026)

Special: Suitable for retired Army Medical Teachers and superannuated faculty

Contract Terms & Conditions

For Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor:

Contract Duration:

• Initial: 1 year
• Or till joining of regular incumbent (whichever is earlier)
• Extension for another 1 year on satisfactory performance
• Minimum term: 1 year for Teaching Faculty

Termination:

• Either side can terminate
• 1 month prior notice required
• No reason need be assigned

Other Terms:

• As issued by competent authority from time to time

Mode of Payment:

• Demand Draft Only
• In favor of: "ESI Fund A/c No. 1"
• Drawn on: Any scheduled bank
• Payable at: Jaipur
• DD must be issued after the date of advertisement (after 06.02.2026)

• No other payment mode accepted

3. Educational Certificates - MBBS, MD/MS/DNB (original + copies)
4. Experience Certificates - Teaching/Research experience
5. Research Papers & Publications - Proof of publications
6. NMC/State Medical Council Registration - Updated registration certificate
7. Caste Certificate - For SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates
   • Central Govt format
   • OBC & EWS: Not more than 1 year old
8. EWS Income & Asset Certificate - As per DOPT letter dated 31.01.2019
9. Pension Payment Order (PPO) - For retired candidates
10. Equivalent Teaching Experience Certificate - For retired Army Medical Teachers (issued by DGAFMS)
11. NOC/Relieving Certificate - From previous/current employer (if applicable)
12. Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card

Special Provisions

For Army Retired Medical Teachers:

• Superannuated AFMS Medical Teachers can apply
• Must submit Equivalent Teaching Experience Certificate
• Issued by DGAFMS (Director General Armed Forces Medical Services)
• To be submitted at time of interview

Cross-Level Application:

As per ESIC HQ Memorandum:

1. Candidates eligible for higher post can be interviewed for lower post
   • Professor can apply for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor
   • Associate Professor can apply for Assistant Professor
2. If selected, placement with suitable upgradation of lower post
   • As per eligibility
   • On recommendation of selection board
3. Upgradation is:
   • Temporary
   • Limited to tenure or till regular incumbent joins
   • For lower post only

Selection Procedure

Process:

1. Interview-based selection
2. Performance before selection board
3. Result displayed on website
4. Selected candidates must join immediately after offer

General Conditions:

1. Posts purely contractual
2. 1 month notice period for termination
3. No right of confirmation or continuation
